About Me

I study Computer Science and Finance at UC San Diego. I was brought up in London, UK. I lived in India, before I moved to the U.S. for college. My passion is turning ideas to systems — and how those systems shape people, our world, and everyday decisions.

I truly just believe technology is an enabler, it lets us focus on solving more and more complex problems, and that's the basis behind my approach to my education and the projects I work on.

Outside of my field though, I really enjoy lifting, running, racket sports, F1/football/tennis, meeting people, and exploring new places.

What I'm exploring right now

• AI & Recommender Systems: seeing how recommendations ease the process, not feel like ads.
• Investing & Markets: explainable edges > black boxes. Also looking to find companies building the future.
• Healthcare tech: exploring more of low-cost sensing, personal data, and real outcomes.
• Systems: routines, tools, and tiny improvements that stack over time. the overarching view.

Recent Projects

• Stylestream — An AI-powered shopping assistant that helps you discover products through conversation instead of endless scrolling. Built with visual recognition to understand what you're looking for, combined with smart recommendations that actually match your style. I've tried it out on a Shopify storefront.
• Interpretability in Finance — A system that explains why stock prices move, not just predicts them. Using multiple machine learning models (XGBoost etc.) with explainability tools (SHAP) to show which factors drive market changes. The goal: insights you can trust and act on, with clear reasoning behind every signal.
• Research Digest — My personal research pipeline that automatically finds, ranks, and summarizes the latest papers from arXiv, SSRN, and technical blogs. Uses AI embeddings to surface what's actually relevant, then condenses it into actionable notes for me every morning. Saves hours of reading while keeping me current.
